Inventor 2017 R2

Inventor 2017 R2 is continuing to deliver customer requested enhancements, updates and new workflows that help you make great products.

Here is a snapshot of some of the enhancements and updates:

AnyCAD now includes a property manager that allows for mapping properties from non-native data to Inventor. You can more effectively leverage your legacy and 2D data by creating components from layouts leveraging sketch blocks, surfaces and solid bodies. Drawings have a number of improvements including solid hatch fill and balloon sorting. And presentations have a number of updates that make creating presentations easier and faster with fewer picks and clicks.

BIM content on demand allows you to create BIM ready content with Inventor and Configurator 360 that can be configured easily with iLogic. Simplification tools make it easy to protect your IP while still providing the right level of detail for placement and connection points of equipment.  Configurator 360 has always allowed you to quickly and easily build configurations based on Inventor models, and it’s just been updated with new IFC and Revit file download options. Now Inventor users designing building equipment can create online configurations for their products, helping them reach more architects and building engineers with custom CAD content.
