BIM 360 Release Notes

Issues are essential parts of quality and safety workflows. If teams can work with issues efficiently, they can spend more time getting work done. Field users and admins both benefit from the three new enhancements we release in July.

  • Export issue log in xlsx (web)
  • Filter issues by custom attributes (web)
  • “Assigned to me” quick filter (mobile)

Export Issue Log in xlsx

Project admins now have the option to export the whole issue log in xlsx format without any limitation on the number of issues exported.

The new feature will be particularly useful for those users who export issue logs in order to use them for analysis. Xlsx is a much more convenient format for users who will work with the data directly in Excel and it’s also easier if they want to use the exported log as an import file for data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

This feature is available on web only.

Filter Issues by Custom Attributes

New filters by custom attributes let users find issues based on defined custom property fields, such as cost impact or damage scale. This improved way of filtering enables users to find issues based on specific criteria much faster and hence saves time previously spent on searching.

The feature is available on web.

“Assigned to me” Quick Filter

Field users will be able to find the Issues they are responsible for instantly by tapping on the “Assigned to me” quick filter within the mobile app.  Previously mobile users had to search for their names within the assignee filter, so the new quick filter offers a much faster solution.
The feature is available on mobile only.

Other Improvements

Several new mobile features became available on Android devices as well.
Android users can now enjoy a better user experience thanks to the following features:

  • Search Issues
  • Issue Type/Subtype Filter
  • Sublocation Filter
  • Search in Assignee Filter
  • Search Root Cause Filter
