With the July release of the Issues add-in for Revit, you can now view issues from linked Revit models, visualize Model Coordination clashes by tolerance, and view issues from the project model in Design Collaboration. Revit 2023 support is also added. The new features are available for Revit 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The Issues add-in for Revit visualizes 3D Autodesk Construction Cloud issues directly in the authoring application. With the Issues add-in for Revit, Revit users can open, edit, comment on, and resolve issues created from any Autodesk Construction Cloud client, including Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Navisworks and Document Management.
Linked Files and Container Models
Now with the associated models dialogue you can view issues from any Revit file within your project. This enables you to view issues from linked Revit models, providing important context for collaborating with other team members.
Issues are also loaded from container files (blank files with discipline models linked in), which can be used in Model Coordination workflows.
Revit Issues Add-in View
As these issues won’t relate directly to one of your views in Revit, we generate a custom view to visualize these issues.
You can default to this view for all issue viewing if preferred. Project model issues from Design Collaboration are also displayed in this dedicated view.
Clash Tolerance
Visualize automated clash results from Model Coordination, by tolerance. Presented in a new dashboard card, this helps draw attention to more significant clashes with your models. Customize the card to choose which tolerance ranges you would like to show.
Get the whole project team involved in the design coordination process, using the Issues add-in for Revit with Design Collaboration and Model Coordination.
You can access and download the latest installer for Revit 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 through Autodesk Accounts or the Autodesk Desktop App.
