Established 10 years ago by two engineers, NAVASTO has grown into a team of experts specializing in data science, engineering, physics, and software development. Because it was established by engineers, NAVASTO knows intimately the pain points of design process for structural engineers and designers.
So NAVASTO spent the last decade addressing these real-world challenges in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) for clients such as VW, Audi, GM, and Airbus, primarily in the automotive industry. Throughout this time, as they worked with machine learning, company recognized AI’s immense potential to accelerate development processes. They then channeled this expertise into creating their flagship product, NAVPACK.
What is NAVPACK?
NAVPACK is a real-time tool to test designs for faster decision making. Think of this as connecting design and simulation. NAVPACK enables customers and partners to leverage their existing data in order to train AI models capable of predicting 3D engineering results in real time—even on a laptop! And it not only predicts engineering results; it also provides metrics to guide designers in their iterations.
This data empowers designers to collaborate interactively with other teams, such as engineering (aerodynamics, structural analysis, etc.), and to make informed decisions based on performance data without waiting for simulation results or rescheduling meetings.
Why use NAVPACK?
By integrating real-time simulation into your design workflow, you can more quickly develop better products. Whether collaborating with cross-department colleagues or addressing stakeholder demands, NAVASTO allows you to explore design options directly in a meeting room, on a laptop, and in real time, helping you identify key features worth prioritizing.
NAVASTO wants to keep designers in the tools they are used to using, while allowing them to leverage AI insights. The AI models will soon integrate seamlessly into Alias, keeping them exactly where you need them!
We’re excited to share more about NAVASTO and NAVPACK in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on our blog and LinkedIn page for more stories and information.
