We’re almost 2 weeks into the AU Las Vegas 2016 Call for Proposals (CFP) and the entries are rolling in. Well done to all the early birds who’ve already submitted your class proposals—give yourself a pat on the back and go on, eat that chocolate bar you’re hiding in your desk drawer. You deserve it.

For those of you who haven’t submitted yet, what are you waiting for? You’ve still got time to make it into our early bird contest—submit your proposals before tomorrow, May 11, at 9 a.m., Pacific time, for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card and other great prizes.

Here’s a quick look at how the CFP is shaping up so far.

Trending topics

These topics are clearly trending, given the number of submissions. But something tells us there’s more love in the universe for today’s manufacturing industry. We’re looking at you, Fusion 360! And Cam users, where you at?

#1 Architecture

#2 CAD Management and IT

#3 Building Construction

#4 AutoCAD and General Design

#5 Product Design

Serious submitters

Many of you clearly have a lot to share. That, or you’ve been banking ideas since AU 2015 wrapped. (So hey, save some of the good stuff for next year.)

Anyway, contributors like Carl Storms, Sam Lucido, and Allan O’Leary were evidently champing at the bit to share some great class ideas. We love the enthusiasm. But they’re not alone. Carsten Beinecke, Brett Gatti, Shawn Herring, and Mike Thomas have all shown some prolific potential. Is it us, or are you all just angling for that early bird submission prize?

We’re so impressed with these folks, who are keen as mustard and ambitious to boot. Now it’s your turn to join their ranks—this year’s CFP closes on May 27, which means you’ve got just over 2 weeks to fine tune your ideas and submit a winning proposal. Time to wow the judges and give your career a boost. Be bold and aim high. Head to the CFP page to learn more.

C’mon. You know you want to.
