The Future of Making Things Workshops at AU

Stephanie Wells
November 1, 2017

The future of making things is what AU is all about—exploring the technologies and trends that are defining what comes next in the fields of architecture, design, and media.

Which is all well and good. But where do you fit in? How will your job evolve, and what role will you play as these changes unfold?

That’s exactly what the Future of Making Things Workshops at AU are all about. They’re something new at AU this year. And if you couldn’t tell, we’re pretty pumped about them.

Led by Autodesk Fellow, TED speaker, and author Tom Wujec, these 90-minute sessions use design thinking and cool visualization exercises to help you explore what emerging technologies will have the biggest impact on you, your job, your team, and your company. You’ll learn to see the big picture, but also get a detailed understanding of exactly where you fit in. Fast-moving, entertaining, and visually rich, the Future of Making Things Workshop could be the most important thing you do at AU this year.

The workshops take place on Tuesday, November 14, and Wednesday, November 15, in the afternoon and seating is limited. Book your spot now.

Don’t have your AU pass yet? Get it while you can!
