Inclusion is an important topic for us at AU. We work hard to support greater diversity both in our own ranks as well as in the industries we serve. Check out a few of this year’s sessions and networking events planned with this in mind.

Inspiring the Next Generation: The Future of Women in TechnologyThis industry talk brings together leaders from across the IT spectrum to talk about the role of women in high tech, the unique perspective they bring, and how to be an agent of change to bring greater parity. Tuesday, November 14, 3:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m.

Women at AU Networking ReceptionSponsored by Autodesk Women in Leadership (AWiL). Sure, it’s what you know, but it’s also who you know. Women of AU, gather with other professional women from across industries and male allies to share knowledge, exchange perspectives, and strengthen bonds. Cocktails may help, and light bites will be served. Then take the party next door for the Community Reception in the Exhibit Hall. Tuesday, November 14, 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Hub.

Women in Construction (invitation only)—This one’s more of a speaker’s event. Join us as presenters share their stories of making it in the industry, foster the next generation of women in construction, and celebrate customers who are working to make progress happen. Interested in attending? Email Kristen Sylva at kristen.sylva@autodesk.com.
Wednesday, November 15, 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Yardbird restaurant.

Why Adding Diversity in Artificial Intelligence Is NonnegotiableJoin Danny Guillory, head of Global Diversity and Inclusion at Autodesk, for his talk about the practical and technological implications of thinking across boundaries to build artificial intelligence systems that truly serve everyone (and ensure your hair doesn’t get eaten by a robot vacuum—learn more.). Thursday, November 16, 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. in the Theater.

Don’t have your AU pass yet? Get early-bird pricing until October 16.
