You have 23 days left to submit in the AU Las Vegas 2016 Call for Proposals (CFP) and just 7 days if you want to win prizes. AU’s CFP is highly competitive—in fact, we’ve already received a couple hundred proposals. (Great work, eager beavers.) For the best chance of being selected to speak at AU, follow these tips:
#1. Read the directions
Don’t get disqualified on a technicality. Download the CFP Guide for details.
#2. Pick a prime topic
Want to know what we’re focused on this year? Right this way.
#3. See how we do things
Watch related sessions from AU Las Vegas 2015 for inspiration.
#4. Get personal
We love it when you share personal experience about how you used Autodesk products to solve a real-world problem.
#5. We ❤ case studies
Real-life projects showcasing new and exciting ways to use Autodesk products are the stuff of our dreams.
#6. Think outside the (product) box
Is your work changing industry practices? We’re especially interested in topics that drive industry-specific learning and workflows, not just product use.
#7. Race to the top
How will your topic or knowledge help differentiate AU from other terrific sources of learning and support?
#8. Tell us about yourself
Do you have experience teaching or speaking publicly? Have you won an award or written a paper? Don’t be shy—we want to know.
#9. Build on last year’s classes
Did something you learned at AU 2015 light a spark in you? We love building things up—especially knowledge.
#10. Forge new paths
Have a unique perspective on an emerging technology or trend? Are you creating pathways for future learning? Tell us everything.
#11. Got sharp soft skills?
Business success calls for more than software expertise. We’re also looking to help with professional development, project collaboration, and other “soft” specialties.
For detailed info about preparing and submitting your AU class proposal download the CFP Guide. We recommend using the CFP worksheet (available on the CFP page) to perfect your proposal—just don’t forget to hit submit.
