These days, your online reputation is about much more than how many Facebook friends or Twitter followers you have. It’s also an important part of your professional life. Boosting your online presence can help you land your dream job, promotion, or project. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new development in the Autodesk community.

Introducing the Autodesk Contributor Profile, a better way to showcase your expertise and the number of ways you’re contributing to Autodesk communities online, whether as an AU speaker, an Autodesk Knowledge Network (AKN) contributor, or in the Autodesk forums.

Activating your contributor profile will present a unified face to the Autodesk community. Instead of having a separate profile for each platform, you’ll have just 1 bio, 1 photo, 1 you. Your unified profile will make it easier to reach a wider audience, boost your reputation, and build your community by sharing your unique insights. Plus, you can explore all the ways the experts you admire are sharing their knowledge across multiple platforms too.

If you contribute to AKN, share industry expertise and thought leadership at AU, or weigh in on Autodesk forums, take advantage of this first step towards a more coordinated online experience with Autodesk. If you’re going to AU Las Vegas next week, stop by the subscriber success booth in the Exhibit Hall to update your profile picture and activate your contributor profile. It only takes a minute to start reaping the rewards of better online exposure.

As an added incentive, when you create your contributor profile during Autodesk University, November 15-17, we’ll make a donation on your behalf to each of the 2 great nonprofits we’re supporting this year—Water For People and KickStart International. So go ahead, update your profile and upgrade your contribution in more ways than 1.
