If you’ve been passing by the lounges near the Exhibit Hall at AU 2013, you’ve been missing out on easy access to knowledgeable folks, a chance to try out the latest Autodesk software, get some cool giveaways, and even have a bit of fun!

Education Lounge and Creativity Studio

Stop in and try out Autodesk® SketchBook®, all the flavors of Autodesk® 123D®, Autodesk® TinkerBox™, Pixlr, and more. Look for Andre Davis, Senior Manager of Business Operations and Community Strategy, to help you get started.  Here’s he’s introducing me to Autodesk 123D Creature.  Very cool!

Check out the student entries from the Snap, Style, and Share competition, like this 3D-printed bicycle. There’s an amazing drawing of an owl there you’ll want to see in person too.

Stop in at the MakerBot® Saloon and create your own sculpture using Autodesk 123D Catch. Make something to take home to the kids or display proudly on your desk at work.

The Creativity Studio has all kinds of crafty things you can use to create things with your hands. The LEDs went fast, and I heard some folks (in the spirit of the Hunger Games perhaps?) made themselves slingshots, but there’s still a lot to work with.

Autodesk 360 Lounge

Have you been wanting to get your hands on all of the new Autodesk 360 cloud services? This is the place to be. Experts are there to answer your questions about the Autodesk 360 platform and each of the 360 cloud services.

While you’re there, use the AU mobile app to earn yourself a badge and receive a shiny blue, stainless steel Autodesk water bottle. Enter the Wear It to Win It contest and get yourself a T-shirt (while they last, of course).

The Answer Bar

Digital Prototyping Lounge

And there’s an added bonus: it’s something “Big” that comes in a very small package, but you’ll have to stop in to find out.
