It’s the start of 2018—time for all that “new year, new you” business.
But let’s face it: a “new you” doesn’t suddenly appear at 12:01 a.m. on January 1. It’s the same old you, hopefully just a little bit better than last year, last month, last week. Our industries are changing, and keeping up is all about
taking the small, steady steps that enable you to continuously improve. Learning is part of what we do, though progress is often incremental.
At AU, we’re here to support your professional growth in any way we can. You might say it’s our “thing.” Whether you’re interested in developing new skills or honing existing ones, improving your capabilities with software or with people, developing greater awareness of the trends shaping your industry or the technologies disrupting it (or, possibly, all the above), we’re here for you. And we’re all in this together.
Where do you want to go this year? What do you want to improve? How can you bring more value to your role? Here are a few ideas:
- Move your Inventor game forward.
- Unless you’d rather focus on Fusion.
- Or perhaps it’s all about AutoCAD for you.
- Or maybe Revit is your thing?
- Digging digital construction?
- Or go further with advanced manufacturing.
Whatever your priority, whatever your industry, make the most of the new year by setting manageable, achievable goals that can make a difference in your career, then getting them done. One of those goals might even be to get to AU Las Vegas in 2018. (Just an idea.)
Whatever you’re resolution, when you’re ready to learn, we’re ready to help.
