An exciting new feature of Alias 2022 is the Camera-Based Selection feature. We know that camera-based selection gives Alias users confidence that they will only select the entities that they can see and not accidentally select entities that are hidden by shading.
This video will explore how this Camera-Based Selection feature
- speeds up modeling with complicated SubD models, as well as NURBS models
- works with all shading modes, including diagnostic shading, hardware shading, and hidden line shading—as well as an option for a non-shaded mode
- is optional, toggling on and off easily so it won’t affect users’ current workflows
