Happy to announce that the 2025.1 point release of VRED is now available for subscribers to download.
Though this release comes close to our 2025 release, much fantastic functionality has been introduced. These include:
- More user experience improvements
- Direct access to XR from the menu bar
- Updates to the user interfaces for many modules for consistency
- Improvements to our support of USD
- GPU raytracing improvements
- Improvements to volume rendering

- Implementation of the new Substance SDK
- Free CGI Backgrounds content available
