We are excited to announce that the new releases of Autodesk Alias and Autodesk VRED 2025 are now available for subscribers and users to download.
While the Alias 2025 release continues its focus on providing the best experience for users, there has been significant work done in several other areas as well:
- Improvements in speed of access and scaling in the new user interface
- Modeling additions with new tools like the bridge fillet and gap checker tools
- Enhancements to Sub D modeling with new tools and workflows
- Import and export of several new formats including USD
- Introducing the Custom Puck

VRED 2025 continues its work on providing a consistent user experience across the Agile Design Studio portfolio. True to form, this new release of VRED touches on many key areas within the software including:
- Ease of use and convenience across editors, and enhanced onboarding screen experience
- Major rendering improvements including visual quality, new materials introductions as well as support for volumes
- Support for the import and export of several new formats including USD
