Ding, ding, ding—this year’s Call for Proposals is now officially closed. We’d like to give a shout-out to everyone who put time, thought, and energy into submitting a class proposal. You guys are awesome. We received more than 2,200 class proposals in total. (Bam!) Next week we’ll break it down for you with some CFP stats, but first let’s talk about what happens next.

Now What?

Right now our judges are busy reviewing your proposals. Everyone who submitted will receive an email notification in late June as to whether or not you’ve been selected to speak at AU. If you’re not invited this time, we hope you’ll think about submitting again next year. The field is highly competitive and changes every year—so don’t be discouraged.

In the meantime, don’t stop sharing your expertise. Since you just put all that work into preparing your class proposal, why not turn your material (or any other nugget of knowledge you’d like to share) into an original AU blog post? We love guest bloggers and we’d love to hear from you. Check out our guidelines to learn more.

You can also write short articles for the Autodesk Knowledge Network (AKN), which is a great way to get involved in Autodesk’s vibrant learning community. If writing’s not your thing, you can share screencasts or answer questions—all excellent ways to position yourself as an expert in our community.

Good luck to everyone who submitted—may the best proposals win.
