September came with a lot of helpful and highly requested releases in BIM 360 documents! This week, we released two new features that enhance the document management workflow from improved attribute details to simplified file re-uploading.
Files | Support newer NBS Uniclass Classifications
Now on new BIM 360 projects, you can find and use the latest versions of the NBS Uniclass Classifications, including all versions from July 202o to July 2023.
Files | Update xRef Host Files
No more back and forth – you can easily update the external reference to a host file directly in BIM 360 Docs! Previously when an external reference to a host (or design) file was updated, the updated reference would not be shown when the host file was opened. You then had to re-upload the host file via Desktop Connector, which added more time to your daily workflow.
We’ve made this easier! When opening the file, you can simply click “Update” to start the process – no more disruptions.
