This new enhancement of Design Collaboration is a highly requested feature and enables project administrator to define a custom shared folder as part of the Design Collaboration set-up process. Design Collaboration features and workflows supports the customer shared folder.

    New year, new update for BIM 360 Design Collaboration users! We are pleased to announce that Design Collaboration users can now view and manage supporting documents in the package creation and curation process.

    With this enhancement, users can now add most* file formats that are currently supported by BIM 360 Document Management to a package in BIM 360 Design Collaboration.

    Nov. 1st: Update on the Drop Me tool – Rename to ‘Place Me’ and fully available again for newly published models

    Here’s quick update: we decided to tweak terminology a bit, and now use ‘Place Me’ for what used to be the the Drop Me tool. The functionality is the same of course and is fully available again after we temporarily turned off processing data for the tool for all newly published models end of September.
