The new 2024.1 release of Alias is now available for subscribers to download.
Alias 2024 introduced us to a brand new user interface while preserving a lot of the Alias DNA. New modernized icons and workflows were apparent and this new release of Alias touches on this and more.
What’s new in this release can be broken down into several categories:
- UI improvements
- Improved Object Lister, Camera-based selection, etc
- SubD modeling tools
- Smooth/relax function, revolve, etc
- Surface tools
- Improvements in the round tool and feature modifier
- Dynamo scripts
- Transform by planes, image to 2D pattern, and more
- General improvements
- Markup improvements, new file formats, etc
