AIF25 Day 1 Recap – It’s all About Adaptability

The Automotive Innovation Forum (AIF) 2025, Autodesk’s flagship annual event dedicated to the automotive and mobility industry, is currently underway at the darmstadtium Congress Centre in Darmstadt, Germany. Running from May 13-14, this forum is a gathering of senior business leaders, designers, and experts who are sharing transformative insights and showcasing cutting-edge technologies.

Highlights from Day 1

Day 1 kicked off with thought-leading keynotes that set the tone for the event. Raphael Gielgen, renowned trendscout and author, delivered an inspiring session on AI and the future of work, titled, “After all, there is No Finish Line” The session captured the audience’s imagination and encouraged them to think about the possibilities that lie ahead. This was followed by a presentation from Mike Haley, Senior Vice President of AI Research on the exciting research Autodesk is doing in AI and the opportunities it presents in design and manufacturing.  

Afternoon sessions included the Autodesk Design Studio Keynote presented by the Autodesk Design Studio Product Management team, showcasing new capabilities in Alias and VRED as well as exciting new technologies including AI in design and predictive AI for designers.

NIO had back-to-back sessions on their new NIO Firefly model and design intent and a NIO pipeline session, “Efficient workflows for Informed Decisions” leveraging Flow Production Tracking.

And there were many other exciting customer presentations that you will see here in the days ahead.

Looking Ahead to Day 2

Day 2 promises more excitement with opportunities to see even more innovative customer presentations.  In the afternoon, attendees will have the chance to go deeper into Autodesk products and technologies in expert user product deep dive sessions with and focused masters classes.
