Once you’ve deployed your PLM solution to the masses and are using it for production work, you may want an alternate location to test out expansion ideas for workspaces or a place to test out new apps from the Fusion Lifecyle App Store. A sandbox development environment can achieve this. Fusion Lifecycle Enterprise environments include one sandbox tenant that is an exact replica of your production Lifecycle tenant. Fusion Lifecycle Professional admins, if interested in purchasing one, contact your Sales rep.
Once the sandbox is set up, one important bit is to turn off notifications so that users that aren’t part of the any efforts to develop or test new solutions don’t get confused with workflow notifications.

Administrators will want to add this as a step after any sandbox refresh.
I’d written an article several years ago about how to establish a sandbox and the process remains the same. In order to set up your sandbox, log a case with Technical Support . You can request a refresh from your production tenant to your sandbox tenant no more than once every 30 days. It’s not possible to set up a recurring refresh – each clone request, including the very first one, needs to be initiated separately.
