BIM 360 Release Notes

Insight Updates – January 2022

Manu Venugopal
January 19, 2022

Within the Insight module we had 4 updates around dashboards and reporting:

Reports:

  • Location sort for Issue Report

Dashboards:

  • Custom & Shared Dashboards for Executives
  • Submittal Card Bug Fixes
  • Deleted Issues on Cards

Location sort for Issue Report

[Coming Soon] BIM 360 users are now able to sort by location for both the Issue Detail and Issue Summary report. This will allow users to generate reports and send to subcontractors to view issues by where they are located on a project.

Custom & Shared Dashboards for Executives

Both Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 users with executive overview permissions can now create and share customized dashboards through the Executive Overview area of Insight. This enables executives to better leverage and configure integration partner cards and share them, as well as create specific boards for purposes that align with their key metrics or company goals.

Submittal Card Bug Fixes

Prior to this any new Submittal data was not being reflected on the ‘Open RFIs and Submittals’ card. This release fixes that issue and now shows all submittal items.

Deleted Issues on Cards

[Coming Soon] Prior to this release, the total number of Issues in the ACC Project does not match with those in the insight card. With this fix, the sum of any card displays active/closed issues, with the exception of the ‘Total Issues Active vs Closed’ which should be equal to the total number of those in Issues.
