The August 2021 Model Coordination update enhances multi-model review with a clash tolerance filter, and offers support for additional IFC files.
Clash Tolerance Filter
A tolerance filter is now available when reviewing clashes within Model Coordination, assisting you to prioritize major clashes. This can help you capture and track the issues with the greatest impact on your projects.
There are 6 primary updates for Insight within BIM 360 that were released as part of the July launch, as well as several smaller releases that have come out over the last 2 months:
The May 2021 Model Coordination update greatly improves coordination of multi-format design and trade models. Alignment tools help to define transforms necessary to correct misalignment, ensure accurate clash results and support multi-model project review.
Model Alignment
Various tools are provided to apply a transform to misaligned models. XYZ and Rotation fields report data that is being used from the authoring application.
Today we’re announcing the availability of BIM 360 Assets API as public beta!
BIM 360 Assets API provides read/write access to the data stored in BIM 360 Assets module, which allows you to track your project’s assets and equipment from design to handover. With Assets, you can easily maintain an inventory of jobsite equipment,
